Church Street in downtown Orlando will be welcoming another new tenant to the social scene — Ferg’s Sports Bar.
Ferg’s — which has a popular restaurant/sports bar in St. Petersburg that acts as a gathering spot for Tampa Bay Rays fans — will be taking over the train depot building along church street, CF News 13 reports.
Owner Mark Ferguson has plans to open the 15,000-square-foot restaurant by November. It will feature a tap room, an outdoor patio space, upscale restaurant and outdoor oyster/raw bar, according to CF News 13.
This is just one of the new restaurants to hit Church Street, as the Church Street Tavern is opening Aug. 17 in the former Dessert Lady space and Schumann’s Jager Haus is also opening this fall in the old Dragon Room space.
In addition, Five Guys Burgers & Fries closed last week and Graffiti Junktion owner Greg Peters told Orlando Business Journal he has signed the lease to take over the space and open his new concept Red, an American cafe, in mid-October.
