LEGENDARY SPORTSCASTER, RAYS FAN DICK VITALE JOINS BASEBALL FOREVER CAMPAIGN, SAYS VISION FOR TROPICANA FIELD SITE IS "AWESOME, BABY"
ST. PETERSBURG, FL (December 28, 2016) - Dick Vitale, the legendary basketball analyst and former collegiate and professional basketball head coach, joins St. Petersburg's Baseball Forever campaign in a new promotional video.
The video features Vitale, a longtime Manatee County resident, discussing the benefits of having Major League Baseball in St. Petersburg as well as the benefits of having a new Tampa Bay Rays ballpark centrally located in downtown St. Petersburg. He shares his thoughts on the City of St. Petersburg's master plan vision for the Tropicana Field site.
